SOURCING QUALITY MILK
MPP Milk Collection
SMMPCL is sourcing the best quality of milk from 1350+ revenue villages spread across the four districts of Andhra Pradesh viz. Chittoor ,Nellore , Cuddapah and Anantapur through its 3000+ state of the art milk pooling points (MPPs). The quality is checked as per the set standard operating procedures using analyzers and Data processing units at the MPPs. The pourer is also provided with a printed receipt denoting the quality and quantity of milk at the time of milk collection at MPPs. The milk is collected in food grade stainless steel cans at the MPPs and are sent to BMCUs

BMCU
The milk has to be chilled after pooling, to retain its quality hence the pooled milk is sent to a Bulk Milk Cooler Unit (BMCUs) after pooling. The capacity of BMCU is from 1KL to 5KL of Milk Storage. Milk is weighed and the quality is checked in the BMCU again to ensure the quality. The Milk is placed in a SILO and with compressors the milk is chilled to 4 degrees with in 2 to 3 hours. These BMCU’s are operated by professionals and the quality of the milk is reassured at the BMC level. From the BMCs, the milk is transported to the plant location in stainless steel tanker Lorries.

MCC
A MCC (Milk Chilling Center) is similar to the BMCU and all the activities at MCC are also similar to BMCU but the capacity of MCC is from 10KL to 40KL of Milk Storage. And the milk is immediately chilled to 4 degree while pumping the milk into SILO as the milk is passed through a Chiller. These MCC’s are operated by professionals and the quality of the milk is reassured at the MCC level. From the MMC’s, the milk is transported to the plant location in stainless steel tanker Lorries.

Packing Station
The milk is processed and packed at the state of the art ISO certified Mother dairy unit in Tirupati ensuring all the quality parameters and there by ensuring the health and wellness of the consumers of Shreeja Milk.
